Gone are the days

When I thought it was my fault.

And that ending my life would solve all the problems.

Gone are the days

Where I will let you walk all over me,

Dictating terms to me.

Gone are the days,

Where I let you hurl abusive words at me.

Coz from now on,

I am going to let you know otherwise!

Gone are the days,

Where I let you crush my self-confidence.

For, I now know my true value.

I will stand up for myself!

Where I let you control me.

From now on I am changing that!

Gone are the days,

Where I put my trust in you;

For I have now come to know

You are nothing but an opportunist!

Gone are the days

Where I blindly listened to you

Or followed you advice;

Coz I thought you wanted the best for me.

But now, I know better.

All you want is my money.

To sell my name, to gain benefits.

To use me for you advantage.

I know you are cold blooded,

And that you shouldn’t be associated.

I now know better!
