"Why does this happen to me?"
Is all I can say,
About the strange things that take place.
Friendships lost,
Without tears shed.
Is something I can't seem to take.
Memories come crashing
About the joys we shared;
Yet, it seems unimportant now
Since it doesn't seem to matter.
I say to myself, "I don't care!!"
But truly I do and that is why
It hurts to be separated.
I'm sure one fine day
The mistake will be known
And we will once again
Be reunited and happy.
This is my wish today.
